A beautiful summer day was coming to an end. The sun had already set very low over the treetops of the distant forest. The shadows had become long and dark. Large fluffy clouds were slowly floating across the sky, they were also a little tired during this day.
And the day was full of impressions. The banks of the river flowing behind a large meadow were explored. The children swam in its warm and clean water. They swam for a very long time. Until their lips turned completely blue. And then they basked in the gentle sun on the sandy shore and built castles from sand, small stones and coastal grass.
Then they picked and ate the berries of late wild strawberries from a small birch grove near the river. Hands and mouth became red and sticky from the bright and sweet juice.
A huge bouquet of daisies, bells and some other bright flowers was collected.

And then, happy and contented, we went home. Past large thickets of bird cherry trees across the meadow. The grass in the meadow had already turned a little yellow from the bright sun rays, but was still bright and thick. The soft and warm dust on the dirt path tickled our feet pleasantly.
A large white seagull, watching the children by the river, as if seeing them off, flew over them for a long time.
And grandma is waiting at home. And favorite pies with sorrel. And favorite swings. And many, many other favorite, pleasant and interesting things.
How many such days there were in childhood. And how few of them we have, for some reason, when we become adults.

But these wonderful days from childhood sometimes pop up in our memories. They seem to help us, stretching out their warm and gentle rays-hands. Giving strength and confidence. And they live in the heart for a long time.
Probably, as long as a person is alive, he always has such kind and warm memories. Memories that help in life, warm the heart and soul.
I hope that my work will please the owner, awakening such kind memories.
