This is the second painting from my capsule collection "Supermoon 2."
This cosmic phenomenon left a profound impression on me. And it is this impression that informs my paintings.
"Supermoon" is an atmospheric autumn landscape, woven from gray-beige twilight hues. An unusually large and bright moon rises above the horizon, nearing its closest approach to Earth. Astrologers call this phase the "Supermoon."
The painting is a profound reflection on how cosmic cycles influence a person's inner world and emotional state.
Astrologically, the Supermoon is considered a time of emotional peak, and in this painting I tried to convey this tension. Against the backdrop of the moonlight, the branches of an old willow tree stand out sharply, their last leaves soon to be stripped by the cold autumn wind. These leaves symbolize fragility and resilience in the face of inevitable change, reminding us that the world has value only when filled with a sincere heart, and that every moment within it is fragile and unique.
To create this painting, I used an unusual base: a blackout fabric with a melange weave. The uneven coloring of the fabric fibers beautifully conveys the uneven, gray color of autumn twilight. This imperfect texture of the fabric enhances the atmosphere of authenticity and handcrafted craftsmanship, lending the subject a special graphic quality and tactile depth.

The design was applied directly to the fabric without any preliminary preparation, priming, or base painting. I added a special component to the paints to prevent the colors from bleeding through the fibers. Finally, I varnished each element in the painting to protect it from damage and fading.
In my painting, I tried to convey this subtle melancholy and the beauty of inevitable change, resonant with the principles of Eastern aesthetics, particularly the concept of Wabi-sabi. An unusual combination of graphic style and melancholy.
For the stated price, you get the painting itself and a mat. It comes without a frame. I spent a long time carefully selecting the shade for the mat, as it had to match the tone of the painting itself. This is crucial for the correct perception of the painting.
The canvas measures 40 cm wide and 50 cm high.
In the photo, the painting is placed in a real 40 x 50 cm frame.
